I grew up on a farm in rural Pennsylvania. I always had a pen in my hand. Growing up, my mom inspired me to draw more and make things up rather than copy. In high school I started considering art school.
In 2004 I graduated High school and attended the University of the Arts for Illustration. In 2008 I graduated with a BFA in illustration. I moved to Burlington Vermont and found my introduction into freelance. I now live in Brooklyn as a freelance illustrator/designer.
